These Fair Trade messenger bags from Cambodia are made from durable cotton and designed for laptops and tablets.
They are made from remnant bolt materials, which are left over from previous projects. These are then hand silk screen printed and made into bags by artisans from rural villages around Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. Many are homebased workers enabeling parents to look after their children. Most of these producers are underprivileged and have disabilities, mainly through landmine accidents and polio.
This Fair Trade business is providing opportunities for these skilled artisans to earn a decent wage and have greater access to international markets for their beautiful products.
